We, Safina Shohaydarova and Furough Shakarmamadova, are passionate pioneers of eco-tourism in Tajikistan. Through our initiative, Women Rock in the Pamirs, we empower local women by training them to become professional mountain guides, enabling them to earn income and thrive during the tourism season.
Building on this vision, we founded OXUS, a tour company that offers these trainees real-world guiding opportunities. Our mission is to provide unforgettable experiences in the Pamir Mountains while fostering sustainable careers in eco-tourism. Discover our tours and join us in transforming lives!
